God has been pursuing humankind since the beginning. He is a God who wants to have a relationship and intimacy with every man and woman He created. He created you with an identity – you were created in His image and likeness – and a purpose – to use your talents and giftings to steward and care for His creation. We live in a loud world. We carry cell phones with us everywhere we go and are always contactable. Social media is constantly at our fingertips causing distractions. Streaming services bring all kinds of entertainment to us 24/7, no matter where we are at. These are just a few examples of the constant stimulation and noise that we have bombarding us in today’s world. These noises and distractions can easily desensitize us to God’s still small voice.
